This week, Butler Volunteer Fire Company is focusing on safety in the kitchen.

🔥 Stay in the kitchen while frying or cooking on the stovetop. If you leave, turn off the burner.
🧻 Keep towels, oven mitts, and food packaging away from the stove.
⏲️ Set a timer when using the oven so you remember to check your food.

Before your next meal, take a quick look around the stove and clear anything that could catch fire. Stay safe, Butler! 🚒
