Tonight, April 16th, members of the Butler Volunteer Fire Company met for pump training on Tanker Support 491. The purpose of this training is to help new drivers learn and understand the in and out of each unit within our station.
Tanker Support 491 is primarily utilized in rural, non-hydranted areas to draft water from ponds, streams, lakes, etc., supplying a Tanker Task Force bringing water to the fire scene.
